Are you a participant, support broker or community support worker in the My Voice, My Choice Self Direction program in Idaho? You are in the right place! The goal of this site is to create an online community to help interact with parents, family, friends, and care givers of participants in the Idaho My Voice, My Choice Self Direction program. This site has the unique capability of bringing people together from all over Idaho.
You do not have to be participating in My Voice, My Choice to be a part of our network. If you are a parent of an adult with disabilities, or an adult with disabilities, you are welcome to join us if you are exploring the possibility of Self-Direction, or to ask us questions about Self-Direction. If you would like to work in this program as a Support Broker, or a Community Support Worker, you are encouraged to let us know by joining us and letting us know more about yourself. If you are not sure what those positions involve, simply send us an email and we would be happy to help you. If you have an appropriate activity or group that our participants would like to be involved with, please let us know so that we can add your activity to our resources page. If you are part of My Voice, My Choice already, we would love to have your imput - what is working for you? and what isn’t?
After you register, please go to your profile and complete the rest of the questions. This will help us to get to know you better. You can friend request other people, send them messages (through the site, no email addresses are disclosed), or start a discussion. - Go to your email for a confirmation of registration
- Come back to ISDN and log in
- Click on profile
- Click on Edit profile
- Choose the headings that pertain to you and answer the questions.
- Join the group that pertains to you.
People using self direction have as many or more opportunities for social activities as people using traditional waiver services!
