I am a mother of 3 beautiful girls, one of whom has a developmental disability. I work for the Center on Disabilities & Human Development as a Program Advisor. I am also a Person Centered Planning Specialist. I recently completed the coursework for my Masters degree in Special Ed with my emphasis being on disability policy. I’m beginning the coursework for a Ph.D. in the same. I am passionate about self-direction, independent living, and helping folks live the lives they want to live! Helping others with disabilities makes me a better advocate for my daughter and in helping her to become a strong advocate for herself–I learn from you!!!
